The first year Kiewit made it on the Best Workplaces in Canada list, the company was just getting started on the Hebron Project in Newfoundland and Labrador. In Alberta, Kiewit hit peak manpower in the oil sands. The Sea to Sky Highway had just reopened two years prior in British Columbia.
Today, Kiewit was named to the Best Workplaces in Canada list for the tenth year in a row. Kiewit ranked #13 on the list of companies with 1,000 or more employees.
The Best Workplaces in Canada list is compiled by the Great Place to Work Canada. This year’s list received over 400 registrations and over 80,000 employees participated in the 2020 “Best Workplaces™ in Canada” survey.
Kiewit has been shaping energy and infrastructure solutions across Canada for more than 75 years. You can read more about a few of the company’s more recent Canadian projects below.
