Data strategy and technology are becoming increasingly important in companies — and Kiewit is no exception. As these practices develop Kiewit is looking to hire individuals who are excited about working for a company that values their skills and challenges them to learn more in these fields.
Danielle Maddux, Manager of Strategy and Analytics, is always up for a challenge and saw Kiewit as an opportunity “to be a part of a word-class organization that is dedicated to making remarkable strides by investing in data science and technology.”
Maddux obtained her Bachelor of Science in Accountancy degree from W.P. Carey School of Business and then continued on to obtain additional accounting credits at Louisiana State University in pursuit of her Certified Public Accounting (CPA) license. She then moved on to gain a wide variety of experience in public accounting, risk assurance, and consulting services.
The Data Strategy and Transformation team Maddux works on aims to deliver data-driven solutions and augment various business processes to save Kiewit valuable time and money. She hopes for Kiewit to become “an industry leader in data strategy and technology and to promote data literacy across the company.”
One aspect that Maddux highly enjoys about working at Kiewit is the team atmosphere. Working on a team that pushes her towards peak performance as well as places an emphasis on education and collaboration has made working at Kiewit a gratifying experience.
Because of the wide range of skills those on Maddux’s team have, they are able to take a more wholistic look at a given business problem or process as well as use their skillsets to implement a more enhanced, data-driven alternative and deliver transformative solutions that are technologically advanced.
Being a part of a successful team that values the individuals and their skills by collaborating to create effective and innovative solutions allows individuals to see value in their work.
